The art of breaking hearts.

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper, he picked offense at
very little things. In his fit of anger, he would rant, rave, destroy
things in the home. His friends and family said to him, "its normal to
be angry but don't destroy everything in our home because they cost a
lot to replace. Do not curse and say things even when you don't mean
them" but he replied, "I do them just to be able to let go of the
steam of the anger"

So, one day, his Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that
every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of
the wall instead of cussing and breaking things.

By the first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the wall! By the
second week, he had lost count at 150nails! But over the next few
weeks, the number of nails began to decline steeply. He learned to
control his anger and the number of nails hammered daily gradually
dwindled down.

He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those
nails into the wall.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. Even
his Father was astonished to see that no nail had been hammered that
day.

He told his father about his discovery and his decision to hold his
temper from that day on. His father then suggested that the boy now
should pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his
temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father
that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the wall and said,
'You have done well, my son, you have learnt to control your anger
more than you loose your temper, but look at the holes in the wall,
this wall will never be the same again. When you say or do things in
anger, they leave a scar in the heart that looks just like this one'.

Conclusion: Once you hurt your loved ones, it won't matter how many
times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there although they
may forgive you.
A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

Remember that friends are very rare jewels indeed. They make you smile
and encourage you to succeed;
They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to
open their hearts to us.
Before you drive that nail, think about the future.

The future of Technology worldwide

Studies have revealed that students are loosing their reading habit.
Ironically, Social media companies are springing up and the giants are
rolling in billions of revenue in dollars.

Why?

Phones have taken a new dimension. High definition screen androids
now dominate the market nokia 3310 which was a god 14 - 15years ago
can't be remembered again. Now, sony has a water tight phone, samsung
phones have cameras of 18mp+, a2w phones can be locked with the
eyeball and can be operated without touching the phone actually, but
by touching a few centimeters from the screen. Rumors have it that
holograms are coming in the nearest future. Now this is crazy
advancement in technology.

The worth of social media platforms double each year with an estimate
of 1million new members daily. Online shopping is now the order of the
day as giants like Amazon and Ebay have improved and faster means of
delivering purchases. Here in Nigeria, stores like Jumia, Konga etc
have made it even more convenient buy implementing a cash on arrival
policy.

In more advanced countries especially Western countries, Bookstores
can't afford to keep open. Read on google about how these bookstore
keepers lament. E-books are now the order of the day. They are
cheaper, very portable( can be carried in the computer or flash
without increasing the volume etc). They don't get old or stolen
neither do the words fade or the books have mis-printed pages. And the
market demand is increasing.

It has already been noted that we are in the computer age or internet
age. Everybody must learn to use an atm machine, pos, make online
transfers, use debit cards online, be computer literate, understand
other components that work with computers to land a reasonable job.
They are now necessary.

Some companies are even virtual. This helps to eliminate the cost of
office space, utilities etc. Although this is mainly true for small
sized businesses.

Many students prefer distance learning because of the flexibility. And
these degrees are well regarded and respected around the world. Now
even the later part of medical courses can be taken online.
Universities are expanding their list of online programs.

Its normal to go on google to search for information now as all
leading t.v channels and news agency have a strong presence online.
Its strange driving all the way down from one end of the state to the
office of an airline just to book a flight ticket. I bet some people
don't even know that airlines have offices. They know their website
address and they are good to go.

Little children are so smart that I dare not leave my phone near my
20month old nephew. He knows where the lock buttons are, he knows that
I dial numbers, hit the green button and put the phone close to my ear
and say hello? Now, he does that perfectly so I better keep my phone
safe or say goodbye to my air time. This boy is just beginning
kindergarten 1. Nursery school students in Thailand use tabs. Schools
in Los Angeles CA USA received 640,000 tabs for their students. A
governor in Nigeria awarded tabs to schools in his state. Just to
mention a few.

This is what is coming! Technology is turning fast. Position yourself
now so that you don't get left behind. What industry are you into?
Will you be knocked out of business when this new era takes place
firmly? Create an alternate now while there's still little time!
